How do road problems get reported?

I mean, I don't call them in. How does the road construction know when to fix up a pot hole or repaint some lines? Cause sometimes they get fixed. Roads need to be connected to a large network of sensors, that can detect when problems occure and fix them right away.

Roads are routinely inspected and repairs prioritized based on the severity. It's not a big deal.

How do you intend for this large network of sensors that would not only have to be implemented and maintained themselves, but have to be installed into every existing road?

when a selectman(or your city/towns equivelent) complains about a bumpy ride to work the road gets fixed properly. when YOU call it in the DPW(again, or your city/towns equivilent) promptly dispatches a truck to stick a cone in the hole.

That is why it is best to make some connections within your local DPW.

Moves you up the food chain.
