Of course Texas is filled with brain-dead folks (I'd say about 30% at least) who will pull the 'R' lever regardless of logic, but what we really need is a more honest, intelligent, and competent conservative to run.

What you need is a better fantasy than an honest, intelligent & competent conservative politician. Reference the 30% you mention above, realize they're the heart & soul of the Republican party, and that they vote in the Primary.

Rank & file- "Tell me you love me, then you can fuck me!"

Conservative politician- "I love you, I love you, I love you! Always and forever!"

Go figure, huh?

look at how stoopid this guy is:

i cant believe that anyone would vote for and idiot like this. he would supposedly be one of the leading candidates for president. how could anyone think that a person like this (or a palin, bachman, etc...) would be more capable than obama?

I actually agree with the stance that Students (and their parents) are the customers of the school system, and must be treated as such. I don't see a problem with that statement.

Huffpo's thoughts on a Republican. :whiste:
You might as well ask infowars or freerepublic what they think of a Dem.

Wrong. Can you actually back up that Huffpo has the history of lying about Republicans you allege, that's comparable to freerepublic's history of lying? No, you can't.

So you just show that you are a clueless ideologue who parrots the 'two sides are the same' false equivalency lies. Get a clue. Did you show they're wrong? No, you said they're right.

That's a problem with such 'centrist ideologues' - they're just DETERMINED that a 'side' can't be accurate, both 'sides' just have to be wrong and the truth in the middle.

Craig234 logic: Who cares about an internet website, there are people starving in the world. Huffpo might have a long history of lying about republicans, it might not, but it doesn't matter because there are people who are STARVING out in the world right now, they're starving so much that even the concept of the internet is of no point to them. PEOPLE ARE STARVING!

I guess then the difference between a D and an R is that the D is looking at a 300 year sentence to prison and the R may run for President. I guess the two parties have different ways of dealing with scum.

I don't recall the Democratic party signing the order sending him to prison. Let me know when ya find it, ok?

PS - get back on the meds.

Well, at least he is a moron and not a jailed convict such as Fast Eddie from Louisiana and Weird hairdo Blagojevich from Illinois. 🙂

tWO THINGS YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED THERE. He hasn't been sentenced yet and it will be done by a judge, not a party.

Retarded voters usually vote in retarded politicians. That is how Perry won.

I hate to say it but... here is the difference between GW and pecker head, oops, I mean perry. GW waited until 2000 after Clinton's two terms were up to run. Neither side had the advantage in 2000. Perry if he does (and Romney) are running when a sitting president is up for a second term. Despite Obama's failures and successes, Obama will be re elected. Period. It just works that way with presidential politics. A smart man (or woman) wishing to be president would never run against a sitting president. Risking not only losing but worse, branded as a loser.
That is why Romney will never occupy the Whitehouse. He has already been branded as a loser. And the same would go for Perry. Not only will Perry lose if he goes up against Obama, he would have killed his chances come 2016. Same goes for Bachmann and all the others now running.

One exception was during Jimmy Carter vs Ford. And Carter only won because the country and the republican party were severely damaged after watergate, then Nixon resigned.
We're not in that same boat with the 2012 elections.

The smart politicians to watch for 2016 are Jeb Bush, Christy and any other republican not running in 2012. 2016 could be their year. Everyone running in 2012 will be branded as a loser come 2016. Add into that loser group John McCain and Sarah Palin.

Like it or not... progressives, conservatives and tea baggers, Obama will be re elected.
It just works that way. Choosing to run against any sitting president up for re elect, only will show everyone how dysfunctional that person really is. The loser that makes poor decisions.

the guy has a "d" in freshman econ and the republicans want to elect him president to fix the current economy?
he couldn't do worse than Bush Jr., that's for sure and we elected Bush twice. That says a lot about the intelligence (or lack of) of the average American voter.

Dear Moonbeam,

YOU are the one who said this:

"I guess the two parties have different ways of dealing with scum."

Your party did nothing to deal with him. The legal system did. Claiming otherwise is... insane.

OP . People like you vote for him .Ya voted OBAMA so your not to freaken bright either.

I voted for Obama too. But I did it without the 20-20 hindsight that you're using at the moment, a hope for a better future, a real hatred for the repubs for what they did to the economy, a complete dislike for McCain who would've continued the same Bush policies that ran us into financial ruin and a chance that Obama could get us back on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

Seemed pretty logical at the time and millions of others had the same opinion. Ergo, Obama inherited a nation in financial ruin, a repub opposition soley dedicated toward getting him out after one term no matter how much further damage to the nation it took to get him gone and a wimp ass Dem Congress more than willing to "compromise" their principles right down the toilet in order to get reelected. All of it unforseen at the time I voted for Obama.

Does anyone have a link to Obama's college transcript so we can compare?

It's pretty obvious he got into Columbia and Harvard via affirmative action. He only got into Occidental College, a no name liberal arts college here in Los Angeles that accepts anyone, and transferred to Columbia (based on the color of his skin) in which he did not graduate with Latin honors. He got into Harvard Law yet graduated with Latin honors (highly suspect).

Of course he has not released his transcripts nor his SAT/LSAT scores.

I would argue, the only smart behavior Obama has exhibited is his genius to campaign for re-election.

He masterfully articulates any presidential decisions as good for the security of the nation against evil.

But in reality Obama has made decisions largely in the interests of the few and rich.

G.E. donated a lot of money to Obama and they recently moved a huge plant to China right during our whole 'financial crisis'. This 'financial crisis' now seems totally manufactured in hindsight.

Obama fought the release of information vital to a transparent governement which has hindered any investigation of the bush administration's wrongdoing.

Don't forget that Obama is from Chicago which is the pit of hell in terms of corruption in politics.

I would argue that you cannot be successful in a corrupt system without being corrupt.
