I plugged my PC drive into my mac via firewire and I've having an issue accessing the Documents and Settings folder on that drive. I seem to be able to access everything else, I can even navigate into Documents and Settings but once I click my username it gives me a no access deal. Any way around this?

FWIW the drive came out of a Vista box.. I just wanted to use it as an extra hdd without erasing all the files on it. I'm using Paragon NTFS to read/write to it.

Tips to let me read this folder are much appreciated. Thanks,

Gizmo

Sounds like an ACL issue.

Stock Mac OS X should be able to read those sub-folders?

Uninstall Paragon and try.

OS X to NTFS - " Your file permissions mean nothing to me. "

By default OSX can read NTFS it just can't write without NTFS 3G or Paragon.

Although it is possible that "Make My Files Private" could make it inaccessible
