how do people with TV's live...

so I'm house sitting for my parents for the next two weeks... sitting in the living room watching Eureke tonight, and woops, suddenly I've got to go to the bathroom.

so I hit the pause button and... nothing happens :| I mash the pause button furiously only to remember that my parents don't have a pvr. so I had to suck it up and wait till a commercial break. what the hell.

not being able to pause live tv is for the birds.

yea i've gotten used to it too.. thus why when i leave the comfort of my dvr cable box.. the dvr computer i've been customizing will be traveling with me to my dorm.

my logitech harmony remote has a "Watch PVR" activity.....i always referred to the devices as DVRs. does the 'P' denote "PICTURE" instead of "DIGITAL"?
