Agreed. I enjoy my regular visits to the city and seeing people dressed in all sorts of fashions and stuff - whether I think it's awesome or ridiculous or just interesting or sleek or goofy fun. It's just fun to see different things - people watching is interesting.
I would not want to wear a suit every day at all, simply because of comfort, but I do get to wear the single slim fit suit I own once a year or so, and it's fun to look sleek and suited up here and there when things fit right and are stylish. It's not what I want to do more than a few times a year, but it's fun when you do. Plenty of ways to look good without wearing a suit but also, if you like it, wear it when appropriate. Did a few NYE events that were suit required, and a charity ball for artists last year that was suit based for men, but creative. I had a blue suit jacket, black slim fit dress pants, white shirt, shoes, and a glittery blue bow tie that matched my date's dress, which was a vintage dress she got for like 10 bucks, looked stunning in, and had artsied it up with this cool design using the some thread, shells, and blue glittery fabric she made my bow tie out of. People got quite creative with their evening wear at that ball - it was a blast.
After it was over my date and I both said that was super fun, but I can handle that type of event only once in a while. Can't imagine being all dressed up every weekend.
Glittery bow tie action photo for proof of my glitter love, and her homemade crown (the ball theme was some water theme, hence the shells). Had a glitter fabric kerchief in my jacket pocket too.
