how do people make thoses nice sigs that has a picture with there pc specs in it?

On the main page, if you go to "My Anandtech" you can sign up for "My System Rigs", then link it from there.

The colored sigs were an exploit in the FT code that someone discovered, tons of people abused, then was closed by Zuni

 

Now, if anyone with the colored sigs updates their profiles, they'll lose the colors. So they've been kept that way for a long time.

Ya i know about the html sig thing, but i seen on other forums where people have like a girl in the background and than there pc specs right on the picture. Example soon.

 

Inline pictures aren't allowed to be posted at AT. It depends on what the forum admins decide to do.

photoshop, so is there anything that is free and can do that. Ms paint sucks for this.

You could try the free version of Paint Shop Pro, it's like a 30day trial I think.

I don't know if there's a Windows version of gimp (the linux image editor)

My wife is on a board that everyone uses those sigs. All I see on her monitor are those sigs! They drive me nuts! Each woman has to have a better one than the other! They drive me nuts! And they are always updating them, they can't be happy with the one they have! Always newer and some are huge! So you see one line of text then have to scroll through the sig! Sorry

I noticed that when looking over my wifes shoulders. She reads some AOL Message Boards and they have some psycho sigs in there...
