Gospel music can be kind of over the top in some cases.
However, there is a distinct difference between Worship and Contemporary music and gospel music. For instance, Hillsong (United) is an absolutely amazing Worship band, but it is different than, say, Southern Baptist praise.
Obviously Contemporary (Chris Tomlin), Rock (Kutless), and Rap (Toby Mac) are different than all of those.
It depends on your style of music. Personally, I would listen to Worship/Contemporary/Rock all day and not get bored. (Hillsong did an AMAZING concert - they rocked out) Gospel music, I generally don't listen to, but have nothing against.

How does anyone listen to any amount of metal for any amount of time, on any day? I simply don't get that.
