How do they listen to it all day and not get bored of it? I listen to a lot of trance but even I get bored of it after listening to maybe a CDs worth of it.

Same way people listen to rock, rap, punk, emo, R&B, hip-hop, country, trance, oldies, talk radio, etc.

I actually like up beat gospel music. Similar to the stuff they did in Sister Act. The downtrodden stuff is downright heinous.

I only like black gospel music. It's an extension of blues, and a lot of it rocks. I'm non religious, I just like the way it sounds.

Edit:
screwed spelling

Gospel music can be kind of over the top in some cases.

However, there is a distinct difference between Worship and Contemporary music and gospel music. For instance, Hillsong (United) is an absolutely amazing Worship band, but it is different than, say, Southern Baptist praise.

Obviously Contemporary (Chris Tomlin), Rock (Kutless), and Rap (Toby Mac) are different than all of those.

It depends on your style of music. Personally, I would listen to Worship/Contemporary/Rock all day and not get bored. (Hillsong did an AMAZING concert - they rocked out :) ) Gospel music, I generally don't listen to, but have nothing against.

One day last week at work I looped "The Best of Mahalia Jackson" on my music player. Some of the best music ever made right there!

How does anyone listen to any amount of metal for any amount of time, on any day? I simply don't get that.
