How do Nike's sizes add up?

Are they usually smaller or larger than, say, Adidas?

when i think Nike, I think a pretty narrow shoe. Of course I think Adidas is fairly narrow as well but not as much.

I get New Balance because I have wide feet and stores always have the NB's in wider widths
