I've just tested my card Leadtek GeForce 6800 I am wondering if the scores are ok.

I've ran 3DMark03 at following settings

Cpu: Athlon Xp-M (192x12.5)@2400mhz
Gpu: Stock
3Dmark Settings: Default , without Sound Tests
Drivers: Nvidia 71.92
Score: 8729

Then I reache for Riva Tuner and unlocked pipelines an vertex and ran test againg under following settings:
Cpu: Athlon Xp-M (192x12.5)@2400mhz
Gpu:16p6v , stock speeds
3Dmark Settings: Default , with Sound Tests
Drivers: Nvidia 71.92
Score: 9559

Does it look ok, isnt it kind of low, especially improvement from 12p5v to 16p6v-only 830 points. Maybe this is because of my little ram or I think relatively slow hard disk. Thanks a lot for any input!!

i dunno, with specs in sig i get about 13-14k iirc... 9.5k seems about right to me...
*not that it will affect 3dmark performance (doesnt change fps really) you really should get 1gb ram if you game! 512 is really not enough for current games to run smoothly*

i dont know if we want to get into this agian azzy, but i think 512mb is fine. i think its hard to tell the difference between 9.5k and 11-12k anyway.

So should I invest in Ram or in A64 first? I could get A64 3000+ right away but I didn't think it would make much differance.....

just get a matched pair of 2*512 sticks, as they are going cheap now.

I recommend this, ($81.55 at time of posting)

hmm...Cas Latency 2.5 only...would the CAS Latency 2.0 ram be any faster at this quantity (2x512-I heard the more Ram you have the smaller differance there is seen between cas 2.0 and 2.5 ram)?

but the 3dmark scores for the 6800 ultras and gts in the top 10 are all a64, so i guess pentiums suck for that.
