How do i take out some Start up program on Windows XP pro? it bother me too much..

Is there a way to configure your start up on WIN2K like this?
I know that the MSCONFIG command doesn't exist on WIN2K but there must be a way to do it... is there?


ooops... I just went to that site you posted MTDEW and downloaded the MSCONFIG tool from there for WIN2K. Have you ever used this tool? How does it compare to the standard MSCONFIG command in WIN XP/9x?
Is there any danger that this could crash my system? (COZ I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENDS)

Sorry, never used that tool.

I went straight from WinMe to WinXP.

But I do own a copy of Win2k, it just didnt like my games long enough to stay on my HD.

Why did you trash WIN2K? Was there a problem with it or did you just decide to go for something else?

XP seems to like my Live & games fine though, go figure.

I have a SB Live Platinum myself... The only problem I have with it is that at the moment the Remote Center doesn't work (Not detacted). I haven't even tried to fix this yet as I don't really use the remote.
Was this the problem you had?
