How do I, with just one click, delete thousands of IE7 bookmarks that I imported to Chrome?

I imported hundreds or maybe thousands of IE bookmarks over to Chrome. Chrome automatically puts them into a folder called, 'Other bookmarks'. I now want to delete those bookmarks.

To my utter amazement, when I right clicked on 'Other bookmarks' the 'delete' option was grayed out! That means the only way to delete a bookmark is to delete each one individually? It would take 100 years to delete hundreds and thousands of bookmarks.

Does anyone know how to delete the IE7 bookmarks you imported over to Chrome with just one click of the mouse the way you could with Firefox?

"Other Bookmarks" isn't a folder of bookmarks but rather the location where all bookmarks not on the bookmark bar are located. CTRL-Shift-B opens up the bookmark manager. You can CTRL-A to select all, the right click to delete them all.
