How do I wirelessly connect PC to TV

I've found myself watching a lot more stuff on Hulu or from other online sources. I'd like to be able to watch this stuff on my TV, but it's not in the same room as my PC and running wires would be a PITA.

Are there any good options for using wireless to do this?

You will need to buy another box that is dedicated to doing the tasks you are looking for. If you don't want to buy another box, you will need to run wires.

We have networked boxes at the studio. Wired though. I have no idea who makes or sells them. Unfortunately Wireless HDMI has become vapourware.

You could use something like an HTPC or an Xbox 360 with a Wifi adaptor. Hulu doesn't like PS3 for some reason.

does those apps pass along commands? I have a WDTV Live and am getting a compatible wireless nic.

Looks cool, but maybe overkill for me. All I really want to do is use the TV as a display for my PC, but without wires. I was hoping there was a device that would act as a wireless DVI cable basically. Maybe nothing like that exists though.

There are plenty of devices that do that, but you will spend 5 times what it cost for the WDTV Live .

The way they work is they show up as files on the Live. So for something like netflix it shows your que as file names and you can pick what to play. For hulu you add files to your que off the pc and it will show as a file on the Live.

Both programs have free trials.

Just asking out of curiosity really, I can't hulu nor netflix. May stream music at most.
