How do I wash a baseball hat?

I won't mind buying a rack thing to keep it's shape if need be, but I hear dishwasher and clotheswasher and don't know which to use. And what kind of soap to use in either? What method do you find works best?

I have to wash my cap for work twice a week, all I do is toss it in with my laundry. No problems with it deforming.

Unless it is nasty, just put it in the dishwasher without detergent. Should clean it up. You could probably get by with a small amount of detergent.

If you go with the laundry route, you have to get a plastic rack so that the brim doesn't get destroyed. Once again a little detergent and you should be fine.

That's for the tips guys, I'll see if I can find one of those rack things. Just wanted to figure out how much soap to use.
