how do i use the usb hubs on my monitor?

my monitor has 2 usb ports, how do i get it to work? i plugged in my mice but it wasnt recognized

There should be a USB plug that goes from your monitor to your computer. Then you should be able to use the ports on the monitor.

I believe all USB cords are standard. 1 end should be square like and the other rectangular like. Same USB cord for USB printers, scanners, etc.

probably be called something like USB A to B cable

i can't remember which is which. i think the ones on the i/o panel are 'A' and the squarish ones are 'B' plugs. might be labeled something like uplink or 'up' on the monitor.

if the two USB ports are on the front, the uplink port may be on the back near where the video cable connects.
