how do i use the auto adjust on a 2405?

have the 2405 connected to my system, just want to run the auto adjust but it doesn't happen when i push the + button.

your running that thing on Analog? I would use DVI if at all possible. If you are already using DVI then there is no need to use Auto adjust as it doesn't work.

It's not like it "doesn't work", it's more that it's not needed. On DVI, each pixel is digitally and individually transmitted. There simply is no need for the signal receiver to figure out the resolution, find upper/lower/left/right edges, phase in to the analog signal to resample pixel values, etc.
