and

how do i save pics from the internet as the same filename/extension as it is on a webpage? xp sets it as bmp.

if you have intel extreme graphics, the key combo to rotate the screen is CTRL+ALT+ (left/right/up/down) depending on which way you want it

If IE is saving as a BMP, your cache is full. Delete your temporary internet files, or increase your cache size.
