how do I use firewire connectors to get firewire ports?

I just ordered a Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce 4 motherboard and the specs say it has "2 x IEEE 1394b connectors (supports 3 ports)". What do I need to do or buy to connect ports to the connectors? I tried doing a search for frirewire ports and come up with nothing.

Your motherboard should come with a slot cover that has Firewire ports and a cable. You connect the cable to the motherboard headers.

does your case come with a firewire port on the front? you can connect that too.

3 ports = 1 on the front of the case (if you do have it), 2 ports for expansion slot that should come with mobo (as others mentioned).

Thanks everyone. I just saw some pics of the box contents and there was some slot cover there so that must be it. It was turned so I couln't tell what the ports were but I can be pretty sure now that they are firewire. I am glad I don't have to go buy anything else! I wanted to be prepared when my mobo arrived so I could hook my iPod up right away.
