How do I use eye drops?

Arrgh, I'm wasting all the drops cuz I can't squirt it in my eye. Everytime I get close it only goes to the corner of my eye or I blink and hit my eyelid. WTF am I doing wrong (or am I just an idiot???) I've never used these before but my allergies are killing me today and I can't even look at the 'puter screen.
 
Easiest way for most people is to put lean your head back and close your eyes, put a few drops in the corner of your eye by your nose, then open your eyes.
 
Oh. I have contacts and even though I can take my finger and touch my eye (half of the time I do this accidentally thinking a lens is in my eye) without any fear, Im scared of that big drop falling into my eye.

I lie down on my bed and i take the bottle and I stare at it. Like 30 seconds later (or more) the drop finally falls into my eye and I go oh crap wow. Half the time it's not really right on target =(

Any opinions on Visine vs. Clear Eyes (I got the Clear Eyes Seasonal Relief only because I like Ben Stein.)

 
what i do is hold them perpendicular to my eye/face with my hand resting on my face, then i tilt my head back...the dropper stays in the same perpendicular position and i can squeeze a drop in...

Works like a charm everytime! 😛

I used to do that until I got contacts, now nothing bothers me lol

I use Optcon or something like that which is antihistamine.. burns like fvck for a few seconds then feels great.

I've had good success with Visine though, never tried clear eyes.
 
if im dropping in my left eye, i use my right hand to hold my left eyelid open then with my left hand i hold the bottle directly above my eye squirt the drop(s) in.

edit: right eye - just do the opposite.
 
I just touch my eye with the end of the dropper 😱 I'd beginning to think my eyes just aren't sensitive to anything....OMG - THEY"VE BEEN CIRCUMCIZED@!@@@ 😱
 
I drop some Visine in after smoking up, just lean back drop it in.. Doesnt matter if its not right on your eye.. Also you shouldnt have contacts on with eye drops.
 
I put the bottle really close to my eye. That way the drop isn't moving too fast. I hate when it thwacks into your eyeball.
 
Lean your head back. Look straight up. Position the dropper above your eye.

Here's the trick. Look at the very end of the dropper. If you can see the tip at the very and, and it's perpendicular with your head, then the drop'll go right in.
