Do I use the...
flash BIOS Update P34 [BZ87510A.86A.0125.P34.IB.EXE]
or
Express BIOS Update P34 [BZ87510A.86A.0125.P34.EB.EXE]

I'm updating my CPU and it says here that I need BIOS version P20 or greater. I have P09 on mine.

My CPU is sl793 3.4GHz 512KB 800MHz
My MB is D875PBZ AAC26680-205

I've never updated a BIOS before and I don't want to mess this up. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

It looks like the first program runs in DOS and the other runs in Windows.
You need a bootable CD or bootable floppy to use the DOS version.

Read the intructions included with the update program.

I got the BOIS updated and that went smooth. I still had my old CPU and RAM in and everything worked. I have now installed my 3.4GHz northwood CPU and my 2GB of PC3200 memory and the system booted into windows but my mouse didn't work so I used the keyboard to restart and now it gives me an option to boot in safe mode or windows and either one I pick it just restarts the computer again and again and I can't get it to boot into windows. I need help figuring this out, anyone have any ideas why it's doing this?

By the way, I can also get into the BIOS and everything looks fine in there, as far as I know.
