How do I uninstall the nForce4 IDE/SATA controller drivers permanently?

I'm having problems burning with iTunes and I have a strange feeling it's related to the SATA controller drivers.

I've tried removing them manually only to have them reinstall upon startup.

Also tried removing from the control panel - add/remove programs but there is no option to remove the SATA controller drivers.

I would appreciate the help!

Safe Mode and Driver Sweeper maybe?
Wouldn't the easiest solution be to use mediamonkey or mediajukebox instead of itunes?

Download the latest version, disconnect from the internet, safe mode, uninstall all nVidea drivers in add/remove, run DC Pro, install latest drivers and don't take the option to install the IDE driver? It's been a little while since I did it....

everything has a tick box except that one I seem to remember.

Good Luck.
