I've tried using the add/remove programs dialogue, but for some reason an error will be generated when I try to uninstall softice. I also need info on how to delete the drivers or whatever softice installs that isn't taken off with its uninstall application.

I'm running W2k if that makes any difference...

Back when I used Softice.. it just loaded tru the autoexec.bat ; so clean out that file :)
(or use your madd dos skillz to make a batch menu in your autoexec.bat giving you time and a menu to select if you want or do not want to load softice).

Hi!

To uninstall Softice for NT2000 delete the softice program's folder (Numega you know)
Under WINNt/System32/Drivers you must delete the ntice.sys driver file (this is the debugger driver).
Search for Numega in registry and delete all of it.
there is another Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/NTICE. You can delete this. This is the one
that registers and activates the driver with NT.

Thjssss: SoftIce for Win9x is loaded trought autoexec. NT version do not :))))

helppls: You can put softice on manual if it bothers you.

I use SoftIce everyday you know. Best software I ever saw.

Cheers,
