I recently bought a Sapphire X1800XT, and one of the first things I wanted to do was try out HDR + AA in FarCry. I downloaded the 1.4 patch, applied it, and followed the instructions (go to the console, type in \r_fsaa 2 and then \r_hdrrendering 1-11). The HDR definately worked (looks amazing!), but there is no AA. In the options menu, I have AA set to 4x, and "Application Preference" in the Driver panel (default). Apparently, r_fsaa 2 is some new mode which allows HDR + AA, but it does not work for me.
r_fsaa 1 turns on AA when HDR is not on, but it causes AA to disable when you turn on AA. r_fsaa 2 doesn't apply AA wether I have HDR on or not. Since it is confirmed that this works on other peoples' cards, I must've gone wrong somewhere down the line. Can anybody help?
PS. I have the Extended Content Upgrade applied, but I applied the 1.4 patch after the ECU.
