How do I turn OFF the stupid sp2 information bar?

Yes, I read the help file. i Enabled Autoamtic prompting for file downloads in the Download section. I Enabled Automatic pormpting for ActiveX controls in the Active x plug in section.

I have the pop-up blocker turned Off.

I still get the stupid bar when I try to open help files in various programs.

Well, I know windows, and it sounded like a windows issue, but you didn't provide a screenshot initially and your description didn't sound familiar. SORRY FOR TRYING TO HELP.

I know. I haev tried mozilla/firefox and I am in the minority but I just didn't like it.
