How do I turn off SAP on my Leadtek TV tuner?

When I start recording, SAP turns on, and doesn't turn off unless I restart the software or change the channel. I know alot of people here have the Leadtek. Anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: Both SAP and regular channels play at once. Pressing the button to turn it off doesn't prevent SAP from turning on when recording.

Not in the manual.

Are you sure it's not on pages 26 and 27 where it tells you to push MTS on the remote or S on the keyboard?

That turns it off, but as soon as I record again, SAP turns on. It plays both SAP and regular at once.

I think it's a bug in the drivers because something similar happens to me also. Whenever I open or close one of my CD drives, SAP will turn on. The same thing happens to my friend. However, it doesn't happen to me when I record like it does with you. What version of the drivers are you using? I tried the newest ones but found that the SAP thing was worse than before so I switched back to the old ones.

i have same problem, no one knows fix, it's annoying, leadtek knows about it and said it would be fixed in next drivers. that was months ago.

Heads up, Leadtek put out new drivers and a new version of the PVR app. My SAP problems are now fixed, and I'm seeing at least a couple of people saying the same thing.🙂 For those of you with problems, give this new stuff a try.

PS Oddly enough, I wrote a review of this card for my weekly editorial for HomeLAN(a gaming news site) just last week. A coencidence perhaps?
