How do I turn off "Microsoft Networking" logon thingy?

I recently did a fresh W98SE install and now when i power up i get asked for that stupid a@@ microsoft networking id and pw. Usually when i install w98se i just hit enter when asked for the id/pw and it never asks again. In my absent mindedness did i miss something this time? Is there anyway to get rid of the damn thing? And yes, i've left it blank and just hit enter, windows starts but it still asks for it again on next reboot. grrr.... ideas?
