How do i turn my Cue Cat into a normal barcode reader?

i picked one up at the local rat shack...i heard people were using it as normal scanners...maybe i don't have to type delivery confrimation numbers for shipping stuff anymore i think ill go get a dozen and keep it in a box for a couple of years

Find a Windows program called CatNip. It's small and useful.

oh wow, i got it working...and what is this other thing where you disable it from sending some secret private stuff to digital convergence?

that's not a problem if you don't install the cuecat's software. Also, digital convergence is bankrupt or very nearly so. No worries.
