How do I toggle which programs startup in WinXP?

I know in 98 you could go to System Tools > System Information and use the Startup tab of the System Configuration Utility... But I can't seem to find that now. I see Startup Programs in the Sys Info, but nothing is selectable to remove from startup.

Any help would be great, thanks!

I dunno if you've tried this, but...

Goto Start -> Run and type "msconfig". This neat little program lets you choose which programs load at startup, as well as which WinXP services load on startup as well.

Hope that works.

Or if you know what you are doing, look in the registry:

HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\

But depending on what it is, there are 3 other places to do this...

Hey, thanks for the reply. The "msconfig" was exactly what I was looking for -- the System Configuration Utility. That's what used to be in the old System Info menu; guess they just moved it for some reason.

Anyway, thanks, worked like a charm.
