How do I test a usb port, plz.

I have one of the new usb cable modems [the cable dude had never seen one - he installed a nic and one of @home's modems instead]. The @home tech asked me if I had tested the usb port. ?? How do I do that? Device manager shows no problems, SiSoftSandra shows no problems. I understand loopback plugs for serial and parallel port testing, but this usb port testing is new to me. Anyone know how? Thank you.

Pretty good, madthumbs, but I'll need a techie to do that. You busy? Just make sure you wipe your feet and tongue on the door mat before you come in. j/k
