How do I tell who manufactured a stick of RAM?

Hi,

I just got a shipment of 256 MB ECC PC100 RAM and wanted to know who manufactures it. Each chip on it says:

MT 48LC16M8A2
TG -8E B

I thought I purchased Micron RAM but I can't find any signs of it being Micron-branded on the chip?

In the lower left hand corner of the stick there is a thing that says:
PC100
POWMEM

Any ideas?

Someone "in the know" will likley correct me if I am wrong, but I think the MT gives it away.

MT = micron technology

MT on the ram chips is a Micron logo.
You have genuine Micron ram on a generic pcb.
