How do I tell what video card I have?

Hi, I reinstalled windows 98 on my 400 mhz intel pentium 2. Everything is fine except for one thing; I forgot what kind of video card I have and the windows 98 standard drivers are real bad. How do I find out what kind of video card I have?

Open the case and read the chipset.

Or more specifically, open the case, look at the card and see if you can find some sort of model # on it. Then look it up on the web to determine what you have for sure.

Go to run and type in "dxdiag"
Or just open up your case as the others suggested.

According to him, he can't do that, because it's not recognizing the card by default. Either that, or all of us misunderstood.
