How do I tell if PAT is enabled on my intel D875PBZ?

I was trying to find in the bios how to enable PAT on my new intel D875PBZ motherboard, but I can't seem to find it. When I run CPU-Z ID it says PAT is disabled. Yet when I run PC Mark my memory score is 9200 which sounds pretty good. Is their a way to tell if its enabled?

THanks, Karl26

It should be automatically enabled on that board since it is the 875 chipset. Make sure you have the latest CPUZ

Unfortunately there's a glitch in the Intel BIOSes for this board and PAT is disabled on all BIOSes past P05. This is verifieable using apps like Cachemem, ctiaw, Sandra and PCMark. Read through this giant thread about the 875PBZ over at Asusboards. Starting somewhere in the middle of it is where we first find proof of this.

I, and others have contacted Intel about this issue but they claim that the software is misreporting this and that PAT is enabled no matter what. The problem is that the benchmarks tell a different story. If you run them with BIOS P05 you'll get on set of numbers and if you run them with any BIOS past P05 you'll get lower numbers. We've repeated these experiments over and over (I've done it on 4 different 875PBZs) and always got the same results, except for one guy who's running a 533MHz CPU on his board. His PAT stays enabled no matter what BIOS he's running. Read the thread for the whole sordid tale.....
