JEDI Lifer Sep 25, 2001 29,391 2,737 126 Jul 29, 2010 #1 cpu = AMD x2 6000 mobo= asus m2r32-mvp Manual says for dual channel, use memory slots 1+3. On motherboard, slots 1+2 are same color (yellow), slots 3+4 are same color (black). Is there a program i can run to test if i'm in dual channel?

Click to expand... thx. cpuz says single channel mode. mem is in slots 1+3 per the manual. looks like i have to move it to slots 1+2 per the color coding on the motherboard. sigh edit: moved ram to slots 1+2. cpuz now says mem in dual channel Last edited: Jul 29, 2010
