Its going to be alot more difficult to fake the gtx690 because it is a dual gpu card. You should be able to tell that its a 690 by the size and layout alone. That rear pic posted above should do it.Hi guys,
I posted something earlier but I dexided to go for GTX 690.
First, is there a way for the seller to use a lower card and use 690 casing to fake it? How do I tell from the outside look that it is the real GTX 690?
You just wanted to know how to tell from the outside by looking at it, so if the PCB matches the pic above its a 690 and not a 590 which will look different. I don't know who or where you getting the card from but would only buy if there is a warranty/protection against DOA and to be working properly. If there is no trusted warranty/protection per above who ever your buying it from then I wouldn't buy it.This is something what I was worried about.
Also, a bit worried that it might be a bad card or something. But I dunno.
