How do I take screenshots???

I see how those books have screenshots, helping alot. Since I am writing technical manuals on how to use stuff I think screenshots would be helpful.

So, I was wondering. How does one get a screenshot on Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 1?

Any suggestions?

press Print Screen key on your keyboard,then paste the image in paint.

CTL+ALT+print screen key combo will allow you to take a screenshot of the current maximized window.
