when i checked my friends facebook i tend to see their picture where they have conversation and web-cams i also see that they can even take pictures of their computer screens, facebook page and stuff but it doesn't seem like they took it using their camera, so i was wondering how do you do that?

Press the Print Screen key right above the insert key on the keyboard. Then open up Paint, and hold Ctrl key and press V.

The resolution is the same as the one being display on the monitor. When you save it, you might want to save it as bmp instead of jpg.

save it as bmp fomat? let me try it

thanks your time

BMPs will give you better quality but will be huge.. If you have Vista or Win7 you can save as PNG (portable network graphics) and it will be much smaller and still have good quality. Not sure if XP's paint could save as PNG or not..

Here's another way to capture pictures on the web. Right click on the picture and select SAVE PICTURE AS and give it a name and location - then save.

If you are using Vista, use the Snipper tool. Those are more precise than PrintScreens because you can isolate exactly on what you want by framing it and clipping.
