Hi,

From time to time people usually my hardware support people assk me for the photos of various parts of my PC.

I don't have a digital camera or a webcam.

What is the cheapest way of taking such picures & sending them as e mail attachment ?

A cheap digital camera or a webcam or something else ?

Please do give specifics specs of such device & brand name if possible.

Also what kind of software do I need to capture such photos ?

Thanks

Buy one of the 3 following devices:
1. A smartphone with a camera
2. A webcam
3. A digital camera.

The webcam will be somewhat uncomfortable to use though, it is also the only one of the 3 that will require special software (which is LIKELY but not guaranteed to be bundled).
I recommend a smartphone, or if not a digital camera

Cellphone. Or if you can't afford a digital camera I guess you can go through the lengthy process of going to walgreens with a disposable camera and putting them on a disc. If you are sending the pics in an email just attach them. If you need to web host them use something like photobucket.

Seriously, join this century, and get yourself a cheap $80-100 digicam. Or get a cell phone with a cam (although that might be difficult to get photos off of, unless it's a smartphone, and has internal capability to upload or e-mail the photos off of the phone).
