how do i switch drive letters?

For Win2k:

Control Panel ----> Administrative Tools ----> Computer Managament ----> Storage ----> Disk Management.

Right click on the drive you want to change

You can do this without LetterAssigner. However, if you wanted to move hard drive volumes around, I would use LA for that.

In the device manager, you and browse to the specific device and change its letter from there (again, everything except hard drives).

-SUO

if you have Iomegaware installed, there's a tab in the Zip Drive properties that allows you to change the drive letters of your CD-ROM/Zip devices. i don't know how different this is compared to changing it in, say, device manager.
