What is the best way to submit your site to search engines?

either there are "Add URL" buttons/links or it will be found by itself if other sites are linking to it.

i've never actually put a site on a search engine before..but i know you gotta use metatags on your page also.

Either pay $$$ or just get a bunch links to your site so it rises up Google's list. Meta tags are all but worthless anymore.

Submit the url to Google. Takes about a month for it to spread throughout search engines. Best to find some other related sites to yours and see if you can become affiliated with them. Get into a "web-ring" .
