How do i stop log in for windows xp pro?

i was wondering how to get windows xp pro to start up to my main screen. right now it asks me to enter a name and password even though i have not set one. i just have to press enter to get buy it but if you know how i can get it to go away all together that would be great. thx

Go to "Start>Run" and type in "Control Userpasswords2" (without the quotes). Uncheck the box that says "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer.

You can also do this with TweakUI. There's something in there that allows you to "autologon" or something like that.

Remember, your box is less secure if you don't have to log on. I don't logon my own boxes, but anything I build or setup for someone with other people (kids, coworkers etc) around I leave with the Logon set.
