How do I stop harassing phone calls?

Well, that's the thing. My father isn't at home most of the time, because he works during the day, but that one time she did talk to him was on a saturday, and that was the same day she asked about the SSN, my dad's response being "You have the wrong person..." Logic dictates that there's more than one person with my dad's name and that if you didn't get the right guy, you should stop pestering him.

Call the police, and ask where you can file a complaint about phone harassment and abuse. I had to do this, awhile ago when a friend's ex-girlfriend kept bugging me at all hours and leaving obscene remarks on my answering machine.

I sent the tape to the City Attorney, and they finally arrested her.

I always begin the conversation and then say in a firm tone: &quot;Operator,this is the individual who has been threatening me, trace the call&quot; and they hang up. When perverts used to call, I would answer if a deeper voice, speak really fast, and say &quot;Pizza Hut&quot; or &quot;Church of Satan&quot; -- of course, you never know who is going to call :eek:
