How do I stay anonyme on web?

I need to stay anonyme on web, to cheat in web-game =)

I've a T1 connection and my provider has a pretty good firewall. I have tryed Anonymity 4 Proxy ver. 2.5 with no succes, none of proxies worked =\

Does anyone has any good idea what shoul I do?

There is no real legal Anonymity on the Internet.

It is not a matter of software, what is usually offered is a service.

It means your connection is going to your ISP and from your ISP to the Anonymous service, and then the general Internet. These services has server that are set in a way that no matter where you come from the other side get the Anonymous server address. However, the Anonymous service knows where you are going.

Without IP address there is no Internet surfing. Therefore, Test 1 will show the IP.

Test 6 is an inference of Test 1.

The info in the remaining tests can be controlled by the Cable/DSL firewall + software firewall + Win XX safety settings.

For a sign up and monthly fee, anonymizer.com will give you a service that will provide their IP instead of your IP while you are surfing.

Clear the pre-loaded lists and find some good, public proxies, and test them to ensure speed and reliability.

If you would spend as much time learning the game as you are at trying to find ways to cheat without getting caught you might actually become a good player instead of just another wannabe who has to cheat to do well.

Sigh.....I've been online gaming with many TAT'ers in one of Utopia's sister games for well over a year and a half and all of them are legit to my knowledge, it is sad to see that we have some who see nothing wrong with cheating.

I guess my non-traded prov high up at Faery top100 NW means nothing at all? And no, I'm not an farmer, for that I don't need acces from home, public pc would do fine. For all you know I might simply share my PC with friend who plays Utopia as well.

Not any mind reading required when you have people who regularly check the ip logs of all of your clan members, daily mentoring going on (not sure about utopia but we have a clan site where users upload their status daily to the site) which makes it easy to see if they are doing things that are mathmatically impossible or not. If anything odd seems to be going on as far as landfarms go it's quite easy to pick it out of the news as well. Not to mention practically all of our TAT members are in IRC daily and discuss what they are doing. Games like you are playing are mathmatically based so it's not hard when you see their status and spend time with them in IRC to see when things they are doing are mathmatically impossible.

Making top 100 isn't that impressive and if you were simply sharing your PC with a friend I wouldn't be cheating and I agree you would have a reason to try and hide your IP to prevent getting deleted. However I find it funny you are trying to make it sound like I was just assuming you were cheating and not sharing a computer with a friend after you stated that you were indeed cheating.

Creating/managing 2 or more accounts from same PC is ALWAYS cheating in Utopia. It doesn't matter if you benifit from multi accounts or not. Mehul will delete you even if they are on different servers.

YU22 - I hate to say this, but the reason you are managing to annoy other people is because you are being contradictaory. The first line of your message at the start of this thread was "I need to stay anonyme on web, to cheat in web-game =)". In your other posts you start saying that's not what you meant etc. etc. Either be straight up about what you want or don't bother asking in the first place. I don't quite understand what you're wanting to do (I think that may be the problem others have!), but it does sound dubious...if it's not then plz correct us

My intention was not to crap on anyone's thread. It's just that quite a few of us TAT'ers play the same online game together (at one time we had around 40-50 TAT'ers in our clan mostly Distributed Computing guys who are members of TeAm Anandtech) and many of us have had our resets (which last several months) totally ruined in a day by multie suiciders (people who run several countries for the sole purpose of trying to knock out the competition) while their "main country" sits back and peacefully netgains and finishes high ranked.

Most of the TAT'ers I have met seem to be good honest players who work hard to help ensure that our clan stays cheater free above I listed a few of the steps we take to help ensure we have no cheaters which YU22 didn't seem to grasp and I doubt many who don't play the game would understand the concepts behind it all which is understandable. It just kind of sickened me a bit to see a fellow TAT'er (YU22) asking so casually for help with cheating and so many offering assistance and no one mentioning that cheating is a bad thing. I guess I foolishly thought most TAT'ers had higher standards than to condone cheating.

You are right I do not know if you are cheating or not, though you do not seem to know either from the looks of your responses. All I have to go by is the fact that you said you needed help to cheat. Sorry if somehow I misinterpreted that to mean you were cheating (I just fell off the turnip truck yesterday so I am most likely confused by your statement). There is no need to convince any of us you are not cheating the only person you need to keep convinced that you are playing legit is Mehul (which you seem to be working on by the looks of this thread) and if you aren't getting deleted then he's convinced.

Top 100 doesn't impress me because every other text based game I have played top 100 and even top 50 could be reached with ease while playing totally legit. I admit I haven't played Utopia so it might be alot tougher though most tell me it's not that much different difficulty wise as the other games.

Anyway I'll leave your thread and I hope you get the info you need to cheat or play legit whatever it is you are trying to accompish.

Ok, I'll try to explain to you what I want: I want to hide my real IP adress while surfing.

Here's what I don't want: people coming in here and posting off-topic crap, like if cheating is right or wrong, speculating if I'm a cheater or not, telling stories about their clans etc.

Here we go again...I've not tryed to convince anybody that don't cheat for same reason didn't care if how would people understand it when I said "cheat" in my original post. It wouldn't serve any purpose, there no point in me doing that.

I would recomend you to inspect things before making any statements like on whan impresses you. 70.000 people play Utopia on 2 different servers, I play on Battlefields which is thoughter server. I don't play in a SK nor do I farm but I'm still better than 99% of those people and do think that is pretty damn impressive.

You can not use the Internet without an ID AKA IP number, that is the way the technology is working.

However, it is possible to surf using a borrowed ID from a Proxy service. Years ago there were decent services that provided it free because the Internet was not heavily used.

In our days there are very few free services (but they are very very slow, and huge ping time). Bandwidth costs money.

If you want a normal speed proxy service you pay for the service (like www.anonymizer.com).

And let it to rest.
