How do I share computers on a W/LAN setup

My setup is as following:

DSL/Router -> Wireless Router -> desktop via. LAN

So my laptops connects to the Wireless router via. WAN.

All computers can connect to the internet and can ping eachother.

How do I get the computers to "see" eachother for folder sharing.

They're all in "mshome" workgroup, but no computers show up when I enter the group.

do you have folders that are "shared"? what's the OS?
if it';s XP, it's often easy to run thru their networking wizard to set this up. check the control panel, under networking. you shold find it their on the left hand side.

Just so we're on the same page...
WLAN = Wireless Local Area Network
WAN = Wide Area Network

I'll assume your laptop doesn't actually access your network through a WAN and you meant WLAN.

Are ALL the computers running Windows XP?

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.

The desktop can see the folders on the xp laptop, but the xp laptop cannot see the desktop. I can't even acces 'mshome' from the laptop. I can ping the desktop. I can't acces my desktop via '\\x2-3800\' but I can acces my laptop via '\\kri-laptop\' from my desktop.

It was the windows firewall on the desktop that was the problem. Once disabled, I could access my desktop, but it still doesn't show up in 'mshome'.
