"how do I setup power user in XPpro? I've only had the OS for a couple days but did manage to watch the tutorial and setup a few things. I can't seem to find this information on my PC. Is it located on the CD? Does it explain how to set it up?

Don't create your account in Win XP's Control Panel User Accounts. That creats only Administrator or User accounts. To create a Power User account, got to Start, Administrative tools (should be on the right side if you're XP Pro) or Start Control Panel, then Administrative tools (Will be under Performance and Maintenance if you're in Category view). Double Click on Computer Management, then on the left side click Local Users and Groups then click the User folder. Now from here you can create new accounts by right clicking the right side of the screen then clicking new User, but in order to change the group, Double-Click the new user then click the member of tab and Remove User from the list and add Power Users to the User's memberships. Good luck!

What are the advantages of setting yourself up as a power user.

Is it similar to the superuser in Unix, but that would be the same as an administrator? Right?
