I have a desktop that has XP home. And I the PC to have a static IP. Since I want to run torrents and I want to use VNC.

All I needed to do b4 in linux and w2k was input a static ip in TCP/IP and makesure the gateway pointed to the router's IP.

Is their something in XP home I dont know about?

Any help on this would be great.

The router I am using is a belkin wireless g.

Didn't hear you mention DNS servers. Make sure you have those values in there or else you won't get anywhere by URL.
