How do I setup 2 modems and two phone lines to get a faster 'net connection?

Okay, what about using 2 DIFFERENT ISPs and dialing into them separately with 2 separate web browsers? Will that work?

For example, I continue with my paid ISP and I dial into it with one modem then I dial into a free ISP with another modem (on the same PC).
