How do I set up WinMX?

I can't get winMX to work. I guess my settings aren't right, but every time I search for something it just say "searching" and never does anything. On my old computer it worked fine, but now I can't even get it to search. Anyone else have this problem?

BTW, I am on a Cable modem with no firewalls running.

Try choosong the "make a secondary connection" option on the startup screen and see if that works.
