how do i set up my wireless hub?

i bought a wireless hub... plugged it in my router, how do i set up everything??? does the hub need to be specifically hooked up to my pc...??? and how do i set the SSID for the hub or whatever??? what do i do to install it, i have the dlink DWL-900AP.... i have a wireless pcmcia card i want to hook up to it...
