How do I set up IDE Raid0 on a 915 chipset?

I have used raid0 before with 2 raptors (Sata) so I didn't have to worry about jumper settings, I have never used raid with IDE drives. My Asus P5GD1 only has one primary channel which I have two opticals installed, has no secondary channel but has a two ide raid connnectors, primary and secondary. I would like to use two 40gb IDE drives for raid0, but how do I set them up? The manual is not clear on this at all. Do I use both the Raid primary and Raid secondary ata connectors with one drive on each as master? Or do I put them on just one cable with both master or one as a slave?

Thanks!
