How do i set my nvidia pc card to work with my television?

I can hook up my pc with dvi input to my television.What option i need to press,activate to make my desktop go to the television?

There should be an option to switch displays or extend your desktop in the nvidia control program. ( right click on desktop, properties, settings, advanced, whatever video card you have tab, and then mess around )

anways, you should be able to select it right there in desktop settings and check the "use this device as my primary monitor" option.

Thanks but this option i think is for ati user.I just dont see where this option is with my nvidia card.Anyone can help?

Right click on the desktop, go to your properties, and choose your card on the top right hand. On the menu that pops up on the right hand side you should see nView display options .Click on Detect Display button right above OK, and hopefully you will be able to detect your TV. This option is also present in the Tools submenu of the Performance & Quality Settings menu on the left hand side once you get to your graphics card tab on the advanced section of your display properties.
