Tried that. No go. Also switched my fax machine to "overseas" mode and tried with that and it still didn't work. I added 011 before the number and that didn't work.

Well, I was just checking and 1 is the city code for Paris, so from the US you should dial 011 33 1 42 11 10 06.

Good enough. Thanks man. Still doesn't work, but now I can look elsewhere for the problem like a wrong number or a setting on my fax or something.

It's some stupid store that only takes orders for this particular thing via fax or mail and it's not sold anywhere else in the freaking world. Its also a highly compartmentalized facility so calling and trying to get something done is bound to lead to a series of phone transfers and, inevitably, some guy who doesn't speak American.
